FYI: It appears that recently, parties unknown...for reasons unknown...once again began spoofing email addresses from this domain, sklarnet.com, for the purpose of sending spam.
(for those who don't know: "spoofing" is the practice of falsifying the true original sender of an email message)
Basically: they have been using a multitude of completely bogus email addresses that appear to originate from here, but actually do not.
This is not our doing: at no point did we ever give anyone permission to do this. In other words: our email has been "hijacked."
Last November (2003) this domain was spoofed in a similar manner. In that particular case (in what I can only assume is somehow related to the spoofing), it appears that in turn someone began an email-based distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack against this domain, "mail-bombing" us with such an incredible number of spam emails that my web host had no choice but to disable all email here at the time, with all incoming and outgoing mail shut down.
I honestly have no idea why my particular domain has been targeted this way.
So, if you have been receiving spam that appears to be originating from sklarnet.com and have come here to try to find out what's going on: I'm deeply sorry that you have been inconvenienced in this way, but please understand that it is NOT being sent from anyone here at this domain.
sklarnet.com is not, and has NEVER been, a spammer of any kind. I'm honestly as upset as you are, and hope this somehow gets resolved soon.
Best regards,
